In the Æon Flux film, Monica is not a separate country. Instead, Monicans are a group of political rebels who live in secret among the citizens of Bregna. Whereas the television series saw Trevor Goodchild seize command of Bregna from a previous ruler, the Bregna of the Hollywood film is established by the Goodchild family, after they cured a world-devastating industrial virus. In the animation, "Bregna" is pronounced BREN-ya, and its citizens are called "Breens," in the film, the country is called "BREGG-na" and the people are Bregnans ("BREGG-nans").

Instead of a barren, desolate landscape (although some vegetation is featured in the TV series) Bregna is constricted by an aggressive, regenerating jungle. The walls of Bregna frequently spray a chemical acid to keep the jungle from moving in and destroying the city. Additionally, the Relical is also featured, however it was created by the rulers of Bregna and for an entirely different purpose.

PS: i watched the film. and its not that bad :) me and my friend actually liked it! and Charlize is a great choice IMHO :)

Well, Yukie Nakama did a good job in portraying goofy Kumiko, but fails more or less when she had to act tough. Also, I disliked how she would always untie her hair when she had to fight.
Other than that, it was pretty entertaining. Napanood ko sya na Sadako so... its kinda weird na teacher sya ngayun lol... omg! did i mention that guy is sooo cute!? XD

About Stuffs

It may be news to many people that contraception as a matter of right and public health is no longer a given, but politicians and those in the public health profession know it well. "The linking of abortion and contraception is indicative of a larger agenda, which is putting sex back into the box, as something that happens only within marriage," [...] "Whether it's emergency contraception, sex education or abortion, anything that might be seen as facilitating sex outside a marital context is what they'd like to see obliterated," Smith says.
McClellan was asked four times if the president supported contraception. "I think the president's views are very clear when it comes to building a culture of life," McClellan replied. Kinsolving said, "If they were clear, I wouldn't have asked." McClellan replied: "And if you want to ask those questions, that's fine. I'm just not going to dignify them with a response." In July, a group of Democrats in Congress sent the first of four letters to the president asking outright: "Mr. President, do you support the right to use contraception?" According to Representative Maloney's office, the White House has still not responded.

"I cannot imagine any development in human history, after the Fall, that has had a greater impact on human beings than the pill," Mohler continued. "It became almost an assured form of contraception, something humans had never encountered before in history. Prior to it, every time a couple had sex, there was a good chance of pregnancy. Once that is removed, the entire horizon of the sexual act changes. I think there could be no question that the pill gave incredible license to everything from adultery and affairs to premarital sex and within marriage to a separation of the sex act and procreation."

Two sailors, when the ship pulls into dock, come into the bay. One man goes one way, and the other goes another. The second man goes into a local diner. He orders "the albatross", takes one bite, and then kills himself.

Imagine there are no words, written. No journal here. No books. Signs are pictures if at all and all your records are recorded on ether, mouth to ear to mouth.

Imagine there is no time, quantified. The sun is here, then there. Maybe it will be warm. Maybe the rains will come again. Imagine a strange few with an unexplained connection to the divine, consulting ink blots, talismans, and stars.

Knowledge of ignorance is the highest knowledge there is - now entering the annoetic. But your tickets no good because the gate is always just beyond reach, taunting and flaunting the question, is any of this real at all?

Imagine teaching yourself not to read, or rather to not read. Staring at words until they dissipate into fragments, particles. Imagine learning to not tell time. Clocks move in random circles. Beautiful. Art. Calenders are squares and pictures moving in time without stagnating against it. Imagine no time. All out. All in. Imagine everything is alive and significant. Imagine you, infinite.

Imagine everything is right now.

A coloured girl with coloured fears
Softy crying coloured tears
Coloured darkness, coloured home
Sadly, softly, all alone

She tries to find the way she went
She tries to find the hours spent
She tries to find a coloured heart
That sadly, softly, fell apart

And if you were to ask to her why
She'll turn her head and softly sigh
And if you ask which way to go
She'll softly tell you, "I don't know"

And if you ask her what she's seen
Or who she's known or where she's been
She'll softly close her coloured door
For sadly softly ever more.
